I combed the internet looking for something intuitive and short that would help me learn the keyboard shortcuts for Pro Tools other than wading through 20 pages Digidesign provides in a PDF with the software. I found nothing, short of a keyboard that had PT template items built into the keys for $40 or $50. So, I created my own and compiled it from some 4 different resources and text books that provided shortcuts.
Mac has always had user friendly shortcut guides with pictures of the keys, so I started with something that worked well for me... on the right, there is small sample of this 3-column, 2-sided page that took me over 4 months to compile and layout. The top part of the keyboard is for PC and the bottom half for Mac. It is organized into useful subheadings to find what you need easily. (i.e. Setup, Recording, Playback / Automation / Color / Editing (see also Regions) / Fades / Group/ Import, etc.).
I am offering this 8.5 x 11, 2-sided PDF for $4. I would have paid $25 for something like this when I start.ed! Hope you get great use out of it!
